Good morning everyone,
I’m taking Jaffa (4 months) to the vets at 11am for a check up.. they put him on baytril 0,18 twice a day for a week today and he’s still sneezing and a little bit of crackling in his nose, he’s still eating, drinking and playing, is there any advice what I could ask the vets like a different medication or tests.. I’ve also been putting vapour rub in a bowl off boiling water for him too.
Thank you 😊

You may want to continue for another week. I cannot judge the dosage without your piggy's body weight but the dosages for respiratory infections are generally lower than for urinary tract ones.

If that doesn't work, then you and your vet may have to consider a sensitivity/allergy to hay dust, house dust or pollen; dry air from radiators or air con; perfumes (including air fresheners, scent sticks, perfumed skin and lunadry products) etc.

Thank you, I’ve just got back they told me his chest is clearing up and continue with the baytril for another week and they’re giving me these sachets things to help unblock his quicker
