my guinea pig sometimes sneezes. he has not got any discharge from his eyes, he isnt losing fur and he is eating and drinking, oh ears look fantastic. now i used wood shavings for my dad is a carpenter, and gets me it when they cut clean wood without chemicals. the pigs seem to always lay deep down and it and i was thinking its getting up his nose for he always diving into the bedding for they love it. i know for sure he isnt allergic for the pet shop uses it and well no rash or discharge just when he lays down with his nose down.

Shavings are not good for guinea pigs at all. They cause them to sneeze. I would suggest you switch to something like fleece. That is nice and cosy for the piggies.

okay for on some sites i have seen that sharvings are okay if it isnt fine and dusty, but yeah i had fleece but always ran out off it before it was clean, i believe this weeks pay will go towards lots of fleece and other materials that are good for them any other kinds. and so that is why my coffee beans is sneezing, for he is normal and active (pop corning) besides when he is being silly with his bedding lol, i think ill stick to this site only for advice than, bad google sites were wrong

Perhaps controversial, but I kept Pig on sawdust for 3 years with no issues at all. I have recently switched to a combination of fleece and newspaper (as I changed his cage), but as long as it is good quality sawdust, I am not anti it at all. I know others will disagree with this though...

It may not be the sawdust that made your pig sneeze. Just like humans, pigs sneeze occasionally. I would only be worried if the pig sneezes very regularly, particularly if this is combined with runny nose or weepy eyes etc.
