Oh my gosh...! I just saw something I've never seen in my previous piggies. I just passed Piggy Palace, looked over and spotted 5 month old Snowball perched on top of the food bowl -bum on gloom but two front paws perched on the bowl and his head up. 5 or 10 mins later (a good 5 at least) I passed again and he was still in the same position! I thought 'let's grab a piccie' .. and quietly went to get my phone.. snuck up and took a pic, and he hardly moved (I think his eyes and possibly head followed me as I moved around the cage?) so I got closer, even f
ilmed him, got loads more photos... normally he would have run to hide under the pigloo where his house mate Piglet already was, but he didn't. Then 2 or 3 minutes after I first started taking pics, it was almost as if he woke up or snapped out of a trance and moved away, eventually hopping away towards the pigloo. I know piggies often sleep with their eyes open, but could he fall asleep perched half up on the food bowl like that? And do they move their eyes/head when sleeping with their eyes open?
