Sadly, Snowy died last night. Snowy came to me from Vikki and hadn't been with me long, originally from a load of rescued in-bred piggies, along with Kiki.

She was just getting more tame and putting some nice weight on after recovering from having the babies, such a shame to lose her.

Bless little Snowy i think the inbreeding caught up with her. :'( RIP sweetie we had some long nights together you and I will always have you in my heart.

Thank you everyone, worried about Kiki who seems to be taking it rather badly :'( she's had lots of extra cuddles but is not her usual self. They were very strongly bonded those two. Such a shame.

Kiki was always pretendig to be the bolshy one but was very reliant on Snowy I just hope she does not pine away i know she is in good hands tho big hugs to you sophie I know you are doing your best :smitten:

Awww sorry about Snowy....it is even sadder when they go after they have been rescued and are having a better life :(

Thanks everyone, trouble is they look healthy these pigs and so it's such a shock when they die! Different if they've been ill and you think something might happen...

Kiki is a bit better and I'm hoping to try her with some other sows in her own time and see if any gel. She doesn't really like the two that her and Snowy were with - they tolerated each other and no fighting, but not exactly best pals!
