Snuggle got an abscess removed from his "guinea boy" part today during an operation . All has gone really well and I can't believe his resilience . He came home and was wandering around his indoor hutch eating etc as if nothing had happened . His hutch buddy Daniel has been moved to a lower section of the indoor hutch and you'd think he was the one who had been through surgery as he looks miserable because this is the longest time he has ever been away from his brother . Vet said keep them apart for 3 days ..... Will they still like each other when daniel moves back in ? Anyone else ever had a boar with an abscess down there ? Thanks
 
PHEW that's great news to hear all went well :)
You'll find there's been a few people's piggies had abscesses and probs.......Wiebke's Hywell was seriously ill :( but lots of TLC and the right meds and he's now a healthy boy!

Thanks Glynis , do you think my boys will still accept each other once they can be reunited ? I am so relieved snuggle got through it yesterday .
