Hi all

I've never used snuggle pouches before, but my new house is absolutely freezing and whilst I refuse to turn the heating on quite yet, I do think the piggies deserve a few extra layers! I've purchased two adorable custom snuggle safes for them. Just wondering if you wash them the same as you would fleece (no fabric softener, 3 times before use etc.)? Do they wick away the wee in the same way? Thank you :)
 
Yes, we wash our exactly the same as fleece bedding because they will wee in them for sure

I have snuggle pouches and my Lara, a short haired sow, uses them all the time even in the summer. I have my Finn and Lara on the first floor in the center of the house so with air conditioning and heating. They have separate cages.
Finn with his long hair doesn't seem to care about pouches but Lara uses them all the time and loves them.

I wash snuggle pouches along with their fleece beddings and never had issues with wicking or anything.
 
Lara's snuggle pouches, monkey pouch, kitten pouch and puppy pouch is currently being used by Lara, she is sleeping in it. So, she has three pouches and I rotate them to wash well.

I wanted to post the new beds I got for Finn who doesn't care for pouches. They arrived just the other day and Finn has been sleeping in it. I was hoping they will keep him warm in the winter. According to the description, it is very absorbent. I am thinking it will at least keep him dry and hopefully warmer in the winter.

I ordered them from Amazon.
Finn at first checked it out with his mouth, and I thought he was tasting it. It has only been a day or so but he sleeps on them. I think he likes it.
 
Can anyone advise how to know whether to get a large or xl or just a medium? They are big boys!
