Snuggle sack problem

Squeak has a very lovely snuggle sack from cosy cavies that she absolutely loves! The problem is she loves it so much that, she uses it as a toilet when it's in her hutch! Therefore after 1 night of having it in her hutch it's been made into a toilet and stinks of wee wee >>> obviously the poops in there I can just tip out but the wee I can't. Surely it's not very good for her to be sleeping where it stinks of wee? She can only have for one night then it has to be washed {:| Anything I can do or will I just have to deal with it?

I would get a couple more so you can alternate them. Then she can always have one. The tunnels and bits from cavy couture are great too. Mine love them.

Could you air it outside might get two nights out of rather then one?

Mine do this too. I just wash it when I was the vet bed.

I have tried this and it does work slightly so maybe if I air it out for longer?x

Have you tried putting something like a soaker Pad or similar in the cozy? - while it won't stop it completely it should soak up some of the wee and help the cozy last a bit longer between washes.

I have tried this and it does work slightly so maybe if I air it out for longer?x

I leave mine out for 4-5 hours then put them back in, I also sometimes line mine to soak up any urine

Most of my piggies won't use them but Minnie does. It's the same trouble with her so she gets a clean one then next day gets another clean one while the soiled one is aired on the washing line (OK in the recent weather). Then on 3rd day she get's the aired one while the other one gets aired. Sometimes we can get a second airing out of each & sometimes not. It's down to whether the poo has been soft & trod into the material or more normally it's hard & dry & can be just shaken out into the compost bin.
