Snuggle sac's & Snuggle-oo's

Hi

I have recently bought my piggies a snuggle-oo each, similar to a snuggle sac but larger at the back.

I've only had them in their house since yesterday and they absolutely love them and are using them as their bedrooms and hides, but are obviously weeing and pooing in them too.

They are made of double fleece and the bedding in their house is vetbed.

My worry is that when they are weeing in them is it's being 'wicked' through?, I've noticed today one of them felt damp but not wet inside.

I was wondering if those of you who use them or snuggle sacs have a problem with them staying wet if your piggies wee in them and if there is anything that can be done to reduce or stop it?

Did you wash the fleece first a few times in just detergent?

I didn't, it didn't occur to me to be honest as I wasn't thinking of them as bedding as such.

I will do that and hopefully that will work.
