Connie and Eliza had their snuggle safe for the first time last night which was a result. Problem is that the little madams have chewed the cover. Does anyone know if you can buy the covers separately and if do, where from?

You can buy them but I think they are about a fiver which seems very pricey for a bit of fleece. You could probably just cover it in an old towel or something - I doubt a piggy would burn itself on them because I don't think they get that hot and if they were the piggy would move away as long as it wasn't ill or anything.

I have been putting one in for Nemo in his cage in the kitchen but he hasn't even sat near it.rolleyes

I have one with its original paw cover and they do get quiet hot, perhaps you could make a cover out of fleece or a towel like Nemo said. just stitch a pocket like a cushion cover and make a flap to go over it, something simple will do them.

i would definiately cover them, they do get hot and will scold your piggy. I agree with others though, its a lot for a cover - i would just make one or again get an old pillow case and wrap around in this if not wanting to make one.

Good idea MissPiggy and Moonie, I never throught of reusing an old pillow case.

I always wrap mine in an old towel (pillow case sounds a good idea too), that way they are easy to wash and also protect both the piggies and the Snugglesafe.
