Snuggly Treacle - not feeling the happiest at moment...

Treacle has had recurrent bloat for couple of weeks and just as we thought we'd got over that, now the poor little girl has a UTI :(
She is having lots of medicine and extra liquids and unfortunately this means lots of trips onto the hoomans laps - that doesn't amuse her too much! She is getting used to it but has never really enjoyed laptime!

She's taken to lying in her cosy as she's harder to get out, sometimes she'll just take her meds while she's in there as she enjoys the taste of metoclopramide and seems to like her Septrin. Luckily we've caught UTI early and she seems better today...

Poor ickle treacle hope she feels better soon and the meds work!
 
Poor girl! (But with a cute chicken leg!) I hope that she'll feel better soon!

I sometimes treat unwilling piggies in their cosy - much easier... ;)
 
Oh what a cutiepig! She looks so very different to my Treacle, but still adorably cute :))
Hope she gets better soon, I know how much giving medicine is a pain! :(

I reckon that may have been a 'Cookie' poo, she must have perform a 'drive by' on her sister! And took a poo outside Treac's cosy!

Oh poor baby. When my little Marble was unwell she had to come out eight times a day for medicine. She hated it so much and tried to bite us to stop us from doing it. It was awful to see her so unhappy. I really understand how you are feeling. I really hope she gets better soon.

Treacle is feeling much better today and is nomming orchard grass like it's going out of fashion.... x

Just to update, tested Treacle's wee tonight and no sign of blood!

She had 8mls of water then was placed in bowl to await call of nature :))

She got bored of waiting and demanded food! Wheeking so loud, this is not normal Treacle behaviour, she wheeks but normally much quieter than Cookie, however not tonight....

So we gave her some Redigrass... It was like Guinea Pig drugs! She's couldn't get enough...

P.S I know her nails need a trim, but it wasn't fair to do them last few weeks with all her problems, rest assured triming is scheduled in for tomorrow (Don't tell Treacle!)

I am worried about a habit forming, Merrypip brought it round the other wheek and ever since they have been hooked :)) :))

You are like the 'Mr Big' of the Readigrass dealing.... It ruin's slaves lives Teejay :)) Orchard grass is no longer good enough - it has to be Readigrass :))
