I've lost friends over animals before...don't really mind tbh, anyone who doesn't care for or appreciate animals as much as I, I'm not really keen on being good friends with anyway! lol.

Good luck finding him a friend!

I agree hun. I lost a friend because of a pet but in some ways I'm glad because this person is just unbelievable! x

Good for you girl! What you did was right, plus her not facing you was very cowardly especially if shes the same age as you. What I would do is send her a message just saying, look I'm sorry but you gave him to me and I have spent money on him, feeding him and getting him treated for an eye infection, as well as extra saw dust, straw (and if applicable a cage). Also mention to her that they dont like to live alone and that with you the little one has friends and that she can visit him when ever she likes. If she takes the funnys about it then she aint a true friend as to tell you the truth a true friend wouldnt do that anyway.
 
I can't believe she had the nerve to actually ask for the piggie back - if I'd ever been in that position I'd be too ashamed to ask back! And it seems to me that if you do lose her friendship over this then she's not a very good friend anyway. I'm not sure I could stomach being friends with someone who was cruel or neglectful to animals.

Well done in standing your ground and it seems very good news for piggie too!
 
Will upload some pictures shortly as you can see in my previous thread about Harry and George i only have my camera on my phone and it is terrible quality! Will get some up of all of them asap :) They are beauties xx
 
Aww so glad that you got to keep him, he will have a much bettter life with you. The girls mum should ask her daughter for the twenty pounds back for being so irresponsable.
