i just got a phone call to say that the person who owns the piggies that I am looking after is not going to let me rehome the boy baby and his dad cuz the girl that they were bought for wants to keep them. She doesn't deserve them and I can't do anything to stop her keeping them as they are hers anyway. The mum and the girl baby can't go back to this lady till I find them a home cuz she says that she can't cope and will give them to a pet shop. My OHs mum is about to come home from work and I have to explain that the girls have to stay here.

Can you contact your local rescue/RSPCA or http://www.sokelguineapigrescue.com to take them on for you?

I think you are a bit too far but thanks anyway. My OHs mum came in and I told her about all this and she is OK with the girls staying a bit longer. Hopefully I can find them a home soon. This ladys excuse was she couldn't cope with them and would be terrified something happened to them but she was willing to ship them off to pets at home. Nobody would pay £30 for Tilly she is under weight and not a baby anymore. She would have been separated from Sherbert and left in a tank in a shop for months.

So sorry she's being a right pain in the wotsit, have you tried contacting HAWT about them if you're short of space, I got Woody and Spike from them, and found everybody that I spoke to really lovely.

I really hope they can be found a home soon, my feelings are that if she can't cope with 4 piggies, how will she cope with 2.

All of this is so annoying n my OH has been put off any idea of letting me help rehome any more. I am so worried for Fudge cuz he is going to this woman tomorrow to be bonded with his dad then they are going to live with someone who I don't think deserves them. I can't do anything for them apart from be civil and helpful so that they understand what the boys need and accept my advise.
