Nicquita
Teenage Guinea Pig
Layla is bringing these little cuties down for me tomorrow:

i'm a little apprehensive, but i think i've had good cause, and i'll be okay.
i'd been looking at them from when i found and applied to adopt Alfie, but with me only having one piggie area (much smaller at the time, too), i could only have one boar. and then Alfie passed away, and i started entertaining the idea before Muppet and Maria could be snatched away by anybody else.
then i realised that Maria was spayed, rather than Muppet being neutered. i contacted Layla and asked about this. she told me he could be neutered, and now he has, and will be here tomorrow. he and his little wifey will need to live in a hutch in piggie village, separate from my girlies. then they'll eventually have a nice little introduction on the grass on a sunny day
my nerves are frazzled, but i keep telling myself that nothing will go wrong this time. and that no one is that unlucky, even me. i'm going to be positive and optimistic, and everything will work out fine
so.... YAY! cute little pigglies x)
once again, many huge 'thank you's to Layla. she's been really great about everything. and even goes out of her way to get them here. i don't think i've met many people like her, even with other rescues that i've been to
