I am currently selling my old tat on ebay to save money for Trek (and his new friend when I get him) a new hutch for out in my garden come the summer.

I am so excited because (i'm new to gardening too O0 ) I have just turfed a strip of grass between my fence and my patio for Treks new 4ft hutch to go on. The one I am after is 4 ft double with bottomless run underneath. By the time I get it the grass should be lovely and high for the two friends to nibble all day as they please till i get in from work. Aaaaaaaah, it's lovely having guinea pigs. I feel so maternal, I just want to do the best for my little man. Whenever I get broody for another baby I just have to think happy, carring thoughts about Trek - They'll soon disappear!

Imaging summer days playing on the lawn with my little furry friends and little girl then on an evening sitting on my patio with one on my knee reading a book and the other popcorning around and munching grass.. aaaah
 
Sounds Brilliant, I love gardening and watching the piggies munching on the grass.

I turfed a couple of months ago and its great when its just for the pigs.

You will have to take some pics when you get their new home and munching on your new grass.

I have a very small garden but turfed again nearly a year ago so can appreciate how chuffed you are. I have a gazeebo (I hate that word!) that fits over the whole lawn (12ft 4m ish) to provide shade in the summer because the garden gets the sun all day long. Its amazing the sort of people who come over & end up being mezmarised by the pigs on the lawn. I call it piggy TV. I will never forget the big ugly skinhead laying on his front nose to nose with Margalo talking in a high pitched voice ;D.
 
we're gonna be laying some turf soon and i cant wait ,ive got some wood from where i work made already into long 8' runs divided into two sep halves and all it needs it wire stapling to it,Hils by the way if you need some gimme a yell,ill get one of the guys to drop some extra to me
