So excited - Suilven's going dating again!

I am very excited. Following the sad loss of Donald a few weeks ago, we have been on the hunt for a new friend for Suilven as he really doesn't like to be alone. Spending time with his mummies is good but not the same as a piggy to snuggle.

So..... we are off to Milhaven on Saturday for him to have a play date with the lovely Wilfred who came into rescue a day or two after Donald's death. He came in with 5 OAP girls who are staying at Milhaven for their retirement but he is a bit younger and looking for a home with a new friend.

I am looking forward to meeting the people and piggies at Milhaven and hopefully Suilven likes his new buddy. It will be an early morning so I hope it's worth it! I am sure I'll have some photos for you all if/when we come home with a new member of the family :)
 
Fingers crossed, but I'm sure it will go great. Sully is such a laid back boy! Good luck

It's so exciting! The date in question is a very handsome lad so I hope they get on well. If not I will have to think of a plan B but that's ok. The worst bit will be the waiting to see how they get on, they get all day together to make sure they are happy before we can go home.

I need to go and google some things to do in the local area to keep me amused while the boys are busy socialising :)
 
Ooh, I got the days wrong mallethead
When we took Sally dating, she knew immediately whom she wanted as her buddies and they hit it off within minutes (I was biting my nails and waiting for her to start a teeth chattering/rumbling warzone :...) Even put her and the two chosen piggies in a more confined space after 20 minutes of them playing and sharing food...still happy so popped them into a large hutch...all cuddled up together xx>>> The rescue said it had never happened before so she stayed overnight just to be 100%. Sally, Winnie and Tilly remain to have the strongest bond out of all of our piggies so it was wonderful to find her the buddies she wanted :))
Suilven and his date will let you know and hope all goes as well for you as it did us x>>
