So excited!

Don't worry, this thread will get spammed with loads of pics. The woman I spoke to said "see if you like the look of them", made me think if there's people out there who'd turn piggies away based on looks or something.

How exciting! Fingers crossed they are healthy and not too scared of all the new things happening :)

Yes there are people who want conventional cuteness with a piggy and deem some to be ugly. My nephew more recently said that he doesn't like pink eyed animals because they are evil so I told him that one of my guinea pigs was a pink eyed and we chatted about her for a couple of mins. He revised his statement to some are evil so it's a start (he was only 6 at the time). A few years back I saw someone trying to rehome a lot of males through gumtree so messaged them trying to help. There was one male they couldn't rehome because no one wanted him and they literally begged me to take him in which I did...

Meet the late Buddy an unusual mix of pink eyed white - mismatched himalayan (one ear pink and one dark with a light smudge to the side of his nose) crossed abyssinian

He was beautiful, my late Sam in my avatar had red eyes and he was gorgeous.

Oh my gosh how adorable! I personally love pink eyed animals and do not understand how people can view them as ugly. One of my rats has pink eyes and as she's the only one in the group, I love her uniqueness.

So, I went to pick up the girls yesterday and they are even more lovely than I imagined. I dont know their breeds, but one is a smooth short haired black and white piggy called Monica and the other is white, black and brown ball of fluff called Rachel. I'm unsure if their names suit them.. especially Monica. They're really shy and hide most of the day but know that they've eaten and drank so that's the main thing. I'll take some pictures when my children have gone to bed as I don't want their excitement to stress the girls out.
