3 weeks ago a friend messaged me as 1 of her guineas had passed away. She wanted to see if I had space to rehome her lone sow

I said no as Candy and Sparky inside in minium space. Poor sparky passed away last weekend8.....................

So if I was to offer this guinea a home, how would I go about introducing her to Candy? I know Candy would love a friendxoxo

oh and hubby will disown me if I do haha more reason to hey|)

Have messaged my friend so will wait to see what she says, the guinea is 2yrs old Candy is about 2 1/2

I have succesfully bonded two three year old sows that had both lost their female mates.

Just follow the usual introductions. I found that it helps if the new guinea pigs can live alongside for at least a day or two, so the new piggy can get its bearings before having to cope with a new relationship. That helps avoid overload, which is when most fights happen. With sows, you will see pretty quickly whether they will get along. The aggression usually happens right at the beginning.
