So Long Daisy

Daisy left us tonight after a short illness she was four an a half years old blonde guineapig with a wonderful soft nature . Tried hard to keep her with us with medicine syringe food etc but she wasn't strong enough to pull through and went quiet peacefully in the the end I thought she had fell to sleep but had died . Very sad our third one to go now . We have one left the same age wondering if she all be ok on her own or should we get another Freind and advise would be great . Any way goodnight and god bless daisy we shall miss you loads x

I am ever so sorry for your loss. You obviously tried your best, and i hope you can take some comfort from that.

If she is now on her own, it may be best to start looking for a companion when you are ready. We can never replace our lost piggies, but companionship is very important to them and we can sometimes forget this during our period of mourning.

How is the little one in herself at the moment?

I am so sorry.
You did all your can, and cared for her well. I know how you feel because I recently lost my girl, Copper. Her sister now has a new companion and I understand how important it is to get her a new friend. Shelters nearby may offer dating. If they have that, please consider letting your pig pick a friend from there. It can save you all the stress of bonding.
