So many nails!

I cut my baby grandson's nails because his mummy darent do it, so much easier than piggy nails! I bought piggy nail clippers with the intention of doing them myself (the vet nurse is £9.50 per piggy, but that includes a quick health check and boar bits check and clean for the boys)... but I managed one back foot on one piggy myself then swore (not as much as Piggle was swearing in piggy squeals like she was being murdered!) that it just wasn't worth the stress... I'm a bit of a wuss but Piggle is just plain scary, and Ollie who is usually a very chilled out chap has black nails and turns into a squirming squealing demon if anyone wants to mess with his feet or his boar bits!
 
I caught poor Brillo's quick this week, I feel awful, that squeal is going to stay with me for a long time.

I am also in the doghouse (pighouse?) as I drew my first blood on Sunday - sorry Stanley. Only 28 nails here but at least 18 of them are black and to say that both of mine are wrigglers would be the understatement of the year...
 
I've got lots of black nails amongst my boars too. Brillo's aren't black, I think he moved as I went to cut it. He's always been so good and just sat and had it done, I hope this doesn't change him. He hates being brushed, shouts the house down, nails have never been a problem.
 
I was just telling my husband that I trimmed 112 tiny nails and only made 5 of them bleed! I think that’s pretty good odds. most of mine are pretty good, except Tiana, she likes to get the teeth out at nail trimming time!
 
Only got 28 to to do (two boars), but Sprout’s are black, so sometimes accidentally catch the quick.

Same here, nail's are done on piggies as and when, and as it's early in the morning, will let others do the maths , so that's 41 piggie's and 4 dogs', 3 grd children and 1 daughter .

Sheesh! 574 Guinea nails + 72 doggos nails (Including dew claws) + 60 grnd children nails + 20 daughters nails!

Reaching for the abacus... 646 animal nails, 80 human nails =grand total of 726!
... I think if my brain is functioning correctly? :hmm:

:yikes: Now THAT IS A LOT of nails.... Do you do your own or do you get your granddaughter to do them for you? ;) lol! Xx

Faith gets to help me sometimes. By hold them, all l can say is "whoa "you're right, that's a lot of nails ,never try to count them all up. Thank goodness it's as and when needs, or it would be like painting the seven bridge , never finished .
