Less than 2 weeks and I have broken my New Year's Resolution. I am getting another pig. rolleyes
 
It's only just been arranged, but Vikki has agreed to let me adopt a recently bereaved girl, and Sophie will be able to bring her to me.

Is that enough info yet? :)
 
Oy no way is that enough info I mean we need the full SP every wee detail including description of newest member if no photo is available ;):(|)

By the way big congrats hun.

No it's not rolleyes... You were pretty convincing you weren't getting anymore so there is obviously a story as to why you changed your mind and we want to hear it :))!
 
She was a sponsor pig with her best buddy Beefy, but sadly Beefy died last night. I was sponsoring the two pigs, and when I heard Baggy was without her friend I couldn't stop thinking about her. I cried for Beefy even though I never met him, and was compelled to give a home to sweet Baggy. I spoke to Sophie and left a message for Vikki, but Sophie rang a while ago and said Vikki's agreed to let me adopt Baggy.

The cage will be extended and I'll pair her up with either one of my own lot or adopt another neutered boar.

She is adorable and I'm so sorry wee Beefy passed away she must be bereft without him.

Vikki is part of Guinea Pig Rehoming Norfolk wih Sophie and Teresa. She's not posted in a while though.
 
She does look lovely though :)! I'm glad she's found a forever home, Just wondering if it'll be 15 you stop at rolleyes
 
i think you will end up with how many piggies is equal to your age!
 
You do have to wonder!

I was so sure 12 was my limit but where there's a will, there's a way. And one or two more pigs doesn't make a huge difference after all. :))

The main reason I said no more than 12 is cage space. But we found a solution to that.

Well, we're dealing with the cages tomorrow so you can wait until then! :(|)
I am adding onto what's already there though, it won't be a separate cage unit.
 
I'm not quite as high on numbers as you but I haven't found adding extra pigs much more in terms of work or expense, scarily and if you build up not much more in the way of space.

Having Orson on his own isn't the best as his cage is fiddly but once he's in with the girls it's happy days again.

Well done on getting her - is she the black and white one of the browny colours? Both are super gorgeous guineas!

I am so glad that wonderful, GORGEOUS Baggy is going to such a good home. Are you introducing her to Delilah?
I, too, was very sad when Beefy died; I've been having a look at the two of them regularly, even though I decided to sponsor Vikki's Poppy and Daisy.

Terrible Laura, breaking your 'resolution' like that :)) but what a lucky piggy! I do hope she settles well at yours, look forward to seeing another familiar face on your photoshoots!

It is so sad that Beefy has gone on to the Rainbow Bridge, but I'm sure a lovely new home for Baggy will help her to feel a bit better :)
 
I was so happy when Sophie said Laura would be interested in offering Baggy a home hopefully we are all sorted for transport on Friday. She is doing ok sitting on my lap as I type but very quiet for her, still eating and drinking but definately missing Beefy she is not usually this calm.

She can be a bit of a bag and has been mean to every sow she has been with but loved Beefy to bits, I hope that a new friend can be found for her soon. For bow she is next door to Fanny and Splodge for company.
