Lisajazz
Senior Guinea Pig
Well I have some good news. As you may / may not know I have been fostering 2 of the chippenam rescue piggies from Fi in Bristol. Bessie and Gypsy came here in August last year.
They started in the hutch in the garden but I couldn't cope with them being out there. They were so un-tame and shy I didn't feel they were making any progress towards more 'normal' behaviour out there so I got a cage and brought them in. They have come along leaps and bounds since then and although Bessie still has a way to go to trust us Gypsy is as tame as they come, she's cheeky in fact!
I have been desperate to adopt them for quite a while but what with one thing and another it didn't happen until yesterday! So it's all official as of now, they are officialy ours! They have been living with Mork for quite a while now and to be honest I would have jumped through hoops to keep them - but actually it wasn't anything like that - was just a bit of paperwork later thank goodness!
So I just wanted to share my joy with you at being able to give these two a permanent forever home here.
