Just had to share these photos of my little girl with our 2 piggy boars. they are so comfortable around her, we have only had them about a month and she has without fail spent time with them every morning and evening (and sometimes more) cleaned up their enclosure twice a day as well, when she goes to see them they get so excited and start popcorning....so proud of her

Really cute pictures i would be happy if i could see more pictures in the feature.

And u have a really nice bond with your guinea pigs good job!

Wonderful.
This is such a good example of why guinea pigs can make great pets for children.
When children who have responsible parents who allow them to interact with their pets in an appropriate way under supervision, they will be rewarded with trust.
My 2 girls love their guinea pigs, and despite lots of parents giving me dire warnings (they will be bored of them in a month, etc), after 18 months they still care for an handle their piggies on a daily basis.
I am so pleased to hear about another child who will grow up knowing how rewarding it is to care for a pet.

Hi - I'm just down the road from you in Canterbury. Did you get your boys from April Lodge? They love lovely and so sweet to see you little girl with them.

Hi & welcome to our friendly forum. That's a lovely photo. Now I've got to ask a dumb question is the boar had the op, scrap that I read it wrong. Ha ha
It's lovely to see your daughter playing with them. My daughter lives in Folkestone & works in the William Harvey hospital.
I often thought of popping in to April Lodge.
