I’m so proud of my little man Artie, after six months of being part of my family he has finally, trusted his mummy to pick him up with no fuss! : ) I cannot believe it, the past week he’s been copying his ‘brother’ and using me as a climbing frame when I sit down in the shed to feed him, allowing me to give him a tickle and feed him veggies…and yesterday my mum was cuddling Harvey, and said to me ‘it’s a shame Artie doesn’t like being picked up, cause he loves cuddle time, he usually falls asleep in my lap once I get hold of him’

As soon as she left Artie came up to me, and stood still whilst I stroked his back, and so I gently cupped his body and slid one hand under his bum and the next minute we were having a cuddle on my chest. It was amazing. I can’t believe it, he’s become so trusting and yet I only see the boys for an hour to two hours a day due to them being in the shed and me working…and he’s more friendly than he was in the house! I’m ecstatic and think my little man deserves a carrot! : ) (And Harvey to for helping Artie overcome his fear of being picked up)

:))

Yay! Bless him, he loves you!

I'm so chuffed for you! It's lovely when they trust you, one of my boys still doesn't trust me and it's been almost 2 years!
If you have any secrets, please do tell.

Bless him! patience and persistence usually pay off!

Hehe i think one secret is dont feed him veggies that he doesn't like (Artie very much hates apples (oddly) and I'm sure he rolls his eyes whenever i put them down as if to say 'Mum! How many more times do i have to leave them before you get the message?' hehe :))
