So proud of my little squeak today!

He happily accepted a head rub while in his cage!

Out of my two boys, he is definitely the most shy and still a little scared. But I think he is finally beginning to trust me!

When out for lap time he is perfectly fine and enjoys his time with me, but doesn't like much interaction when he is in his cage!

This is why I am so proud he actually walked up too me and accepted my head rub! :Dimage.webp
 
That's so sweet, it is nice when they start to let you stroke them in the cage... Squeak is lovely :love: He is feeling very secure with you and is trusting you, so nice

Ours have rules on were you can pet them:

Vimto - Nose rub only
Widget - Head rub only
Sarsaparilla - Chin rub only
Cookie - Anything but the back

My other boy Bubble likes anything! He just loves the attention!:lol:

I was really happy the other day when I realised my piggie Romano is jealous when I stroke Matthew. When I had him with his two other cage mates he'd rarely let me stroke him and now I have Matthew and Matthew lets me stroke him all the time - anywhere- Romano crawls over, puts a paw on Matthew's back and leans towards my finger for strokes.
He'd always let me touch him when I wanted but he'd never willingly come over for them and now he does any time he sees me stroking Matthew. <3

Especially when they want to interact with you!
 
:nod:you have every right to be proud of him he is beautiful, I am sure they are all different just like us and do things in their own time.
He looks like he is coming on just fine.

Rambo - chin only or if she's zoned out I take the chance to fuss her (she's s a little special)
Patch - nose occasionally
Lucky - she will let me stroke her if she's underneath the ramp
Maple - everywhere she's not bothered
Pecan - has to be in the right mood but most times it's chin or the side of her jaw
Rory - to busy doing zoomies to let me anywhere near him...
