I work for an organisation which supports people with sensory impairments and/or learning difficulties. Today one of the services was having an open day, and, as the Manager is a good friend, she asked if I could bring the piggies along. They had their own area away from the hullaballoo, and I swapped them about to a rest area, in between meeting everyone so that it wasn't constant for them.
I was a wee bit worried, as my piggies are used to a really quiet house, as I live alone. It was a FANTASTIC day. My boys were getting cuddles, eating out of people's hands, being held by me and petted (limited to 2 people at a time in their area), and they never complained once....in fact they seemed to enjoy it. They raised a wee bit of money too from donations. I've just brought them home, and put them out on the lawn for a bit of peace. So proud of my lads!
