sorry pointless thread but I just can't sleep. As some of you may have seen a previous thread about my neighbour getting 5 baby piggies, they are outside in this horrible wet and windy weather in just that dingy horrible little hutch. I'm so worried about the poor things.
I hope if she does take a look on here and happens to come across this post that she doesn't think I'm being rude or anything and can just see I'm just thinking about the piggies and I genuinely care.

l can realy understand what yiu are saing , l have been dreading the same situation for a while now,
there are 2 teenage lads that live 2 doors down from me, they have been through a lot of hobbies and l am dreading small animals
becoming there next fad as l think if l was in the same situ as you l would be beside myself with worry for the little ones.

Though l arived at a possibale solurion, l would ask there mum if they needed eny help with small animal husbandry ? l that l
would be moor than happy to help them get started with there aninals , and then pop in perodicly and make sure akl is going well

It horrible isn't it. I think these are actually for her not her two children. I'm worried in general about the poor things, but at the moment it's so cold, wet and windy outside I'm fearing the worst for the poor things. They are so tiny and unprotected from this weather! I'm actually going around again tomorrow to try and help sex them but will be going on again about separating hem,,needing a bigger hutch/indoor cage and they can't be left out in this!

Oh poor things! Sometimes it is just pure ignorance, or well meaning but BAD advice from a pet shop. Emphasize your experienced knowledge of guinea pig care and hopefully she will pull her socks up and listen. Say how big the vet bills can be if wrong care causes illness.....that will get her attention.....prevention is better than the cure:(

I think this is exactly it! But when I give advice I don't know if she actually believes me and that its not just me being over the top?! They are all very sweet though.
