All 3 of these pigs are rescues and belong to katdralion, I'm sure she won't mind me sharing pics of her gorgeous piggies!

NEED MORE PICTURES..... (and an address of where i can find these beauties)

I have a thing for long haired piggies - so you can imagine what happened when i saw the first photo (needed to grab my oxygen tank)....

I am often trying to steel peppermint in the first picture - I adore her x).

Peppermint - what a pretty name - is she a sheltie?

Yes - I believe she is a sheltie.

I definitely need an address (and a coat/bag big enough) x)x)x)

A himi sheltie drooldrooldrool Wexford said yes to having a himi sheltie girlfriend x)

They clearly don't come in to rescue very often - since ive never seen one!!

All her pigs are Rescue's - I'm sure Peppermint was either from Small Paws or Becklen.

Oh and I once saw a Himi Sheltie on Rugby's Guinea Pig Rescue ages ago but they do go into Rescue. It's like anything else you look hard enough you will find one somewhere just takes time and willingness to travel!

Will be religiously checking the re-homing boards now....:))

The problem i have with travelling is relying on public transport (plus i already have 8 piggies - so numbers are stretched) - it took me 4hrs to get to/from Vicky (RSPCA Walsall) - which is a joke really since it's only 25mins in a car and 1hr 10mins according to the travel west midlands journey planner (they clearly don't allow for waiting/delays).

I was considering a trip to wales - but i can't see it taking the 2hr 20mins it states via bus/train :{

I would always advise trains and don't forget about piggy trains! :)

I trained it to Wales with Milo took about 5 hrs - is that a puppy or a kitten? Urm no it's a Guinea Pig :(|).

Possibly a silly question, but what is a piggy train? Thanks

A piggy train is where forum members help transport pigs to there desired location. My girls came from Rugby but a member's took them:

Rugby - Telford (Overnight stay)
Telford - Glasgow (My mum met the girl in Glasgow). (short stay)

I then collected them from Glasgow and took them to Belfast well travelled pigs! :))

I'm new to the forum as only just discovered it when I was researching Little Pig's health problems, and I knew people on here were lovely and helpful - but the piggy train is such a fantastic idea. If I had a car (or could drive for that matter) I would offer to help too... I'm always happy to help piggy train by train though if anyone ever needs it. I live in Leatherhead in Surrey, but commute into central London for work.

Woweeee! They are sooooo sooooo beautiful! I didn't know you could get long haired himis! x)drooldrooldrool

Keep searching Sodapops, now we all know how much you want one (not to mention Wexford!) we can all keep an eye out for you! :))
