Here is a pic of Sofia (RIP 29/7/09) and another one of her and her little ones. (Bill and Pru RIP 25/7/09)
As you may have seen from my other threads within a week of birth they all went to the rainbow bridge. They will be dearly.

Oh I have been away for a week, what happened and did mum die also, so sorry xx
 
sorry about spelling mistakes I keep tearing up Pheobe also died today- So mum and all babies have gone.
I'll be uploading a pic of Pheobe taken yesterday as soon as I can

My original pig, Inara who gave birth to one baby is doing well, but the other pig, Sofia was also pregnant.
Fofia gave birth to 3 babies who seemed happy and healthy and they were all running around fine.
The next day I found two babies dead. Then yesterday Sofia and today the last baby, phoebe.
I don't know what happened apart from Phoebe they all seemed fine before they died. Phoebe seemed very quiet before she went and seemed very wobbly on her feet so i saw it coming :(
 
Oh no...they all looked so precious, you must have such a heavy heart right now.....my thoughts are with you and your family:0:0
 
Oh dear that is so sad, had she had a litter before or was she very young. To loose that many is so sad could it have been a virus or some thing. Big hugs chick fro mary and her piggies x

I got Sofia and another piggy I called Inara from a woman who claimed they had never been with male guinea pigs.
I had them for 2 weeks and they gave birth within a week of each other.

When I got in touch with the woman I got the girls from to inform her that she may have accidently mis-sexed a male she called me a liar about the whole thingand hung up the phone

Inara and her single baby Jennifer have survived and are doing fine, but Sofia gave birth to three babies and she along with the babies died less than a week later. I can only asume there was something wrong with Sofia and the stress of birth caused her death?
 
I am so sorry; you must feel sooo devastated by it all!

Do you know which gender your little black baby is?
