My darling little Sofia died today. I don't know what happened, I went into the kitchen and my cat had something in his mouth and I realized it was Sofia, I think she must have managed to escape from the run because the run lid wasn't dented or anything. I managed to get Sofia away from Pebbles but she'd already died. I don't know why he's done this, Pebbles has never bothered with the guinea-pigs before but I guess Sofia must have been walking around and Pebbles just pounced. I'm absolutley gutted, I've only had Sofia for a week and I'm such a bad owner for letting her get killed. Pebbles is locked in the kitchen, I don't want him anywhere near me or my guinea-pigs. I'm so stupid, I should have done something to stop this happening. 8...

That's so awful, I'm so sorry that happened.

But it wasn't your fault at all, it was just an accident that she got out. Do you know how she might have, and is there a chance the others will.

Don't be too mad at pebbles either, he didn't do anything wrong, it's just in their nature to do that. Any cat would unfortunately :(

I hope you'll feel a bit better soon and don't blame yourself too much. You did everything you could to keep them safe.

I'm really sorry for what happened to Sofia 8...8...8...

I'm so sorry for your loss Alicia, please try not to beat yourself up about it, these things sometimes have a way of happening despite your best efforts at the time.

Sofia had a good week with you, you were blessed to have that time with her.

Rest well, sweet Sofia. xx

I'm so sorry. I know you take really good care of your animals. It's just an awful accident.

Goodnight little Sofia. :rose

So sorry to hear about this. Animals have a way of surprising us and it seems as if you were a double victim of that in this instance.

Sleep tight little pig.

I'm so sorry for your loss...Thats a horrible way to loose a guinea pig...I hope you are alright..And I hope sphia makes it over rainbow bridge...(She probebly will) And then she can also be with my baby Rommy :) get better soon

I am so so sorry, she was beautiful. RIP little baby. Like everyone says don't blame Pebbles he was only doing what comes naturally and it was a tragic accident. I can understand why you are so angry though :(

Please do not beat yourself up over it Alicia, it was an accident. My cat is quite good with my pigs (although I never leave them alone together), however, I am having to be carful at the minute as baby Ena is tiny so I am keeping the cat well away from them. These things happen and it is a cats natural instinct so do not blame yourself.

x

Really sad to hear about this tragic accident, Alicia.

We all have hazards in our homes, whether it's a cat or something else, so there is always the potential for something to go wrong, no matter how vigilant we are. I'm so sorry that this happened but don't beat yourself up about it x
