My guinea pigs have slightly squishy poo, some are even super small and look like teardrops. When I noticed the odd squish to the poo I googled it and it is because of an inbalance to the gut flora so the first thing I did was not feed them dinner. I gave them pellets and a ton of hay, but I didnt give them their bowl of veggies as that is what is said to do. On youtube it said you should give them this beneficial bacteria medicine and some Oxbow Vitamin C tablets. The thing is, both of those things are not sold where I live. So instead I just gave both of them a small piece of bell pepper, since it has vitamin C. I have been planning to order the Vitman C tablets just because I may need them, I wish I ordered them sooner! What do you guys suggest to do? Should I keep doing what i'm doing? I also called my vet and guess what, she moved away! So now I also dont have a vet for my guinea pigs and since I live in a smallish city I dont know if I will be able to find a new one.

Did they both have squishy poo's. HAs it firmed up now.?

If you can find another vet, then that would be my advice really. Are your piggies eating well, are they losing any weight and do you weigh regularly and keep a note of their weights. I would start doing this.
Is there anyone you know who has healthy guinea pigs who can give you fresh poops. If you can get fresh poops from another healthy piggie, one poop then add a little water about 0.5ml mush up into a soup and feed a little to each piggie. You may have to syringe this, you will need a 1ml syringe which you should be able to get off a pharmacy. This will introduce good bacteria into their guts and should help balance them. But only use very fresh poops.

Thanks for the advice! I have been on the search for a new vet and hope I find one soon. Guinea Pigs are barely known here so my friends have none. The poops are getting firmer each day so I think/hope they will be alright.
