Possibly. I don't know. Iceberg is full of water and best avoided, so it might be that.

yes, iceberg can certainly do that, which is why it's a no no

musn't give guinea pigs iceberg lettuce, it's a dieretic. (think thats how it's spelt) any other is fine. that must be why

It may be, it depends how much he gave them and if they are use to it (it is a no no though). The other reason I have found is the time of the year. They get to eat the fresh grass and drink more because of the warmer weather.
