I feel so guilty as I think I have fed Connie and Eliza too many veggies :( I gave them a bowl of lettuce yesterday but then they made me feel guilty so they had lots of melon and cucumber as well :red Today, they both have really soft (not runny or smelly) poops. What should I do?

Don't worry. Leave off the veggies for about 48 hours and feed them a dry diet of hay and dry food, and that should clear things up.

Don't worry too much, I think that the softness of the fruit and veg made the "softness" of their poo.

I am sure within a day or so, things will be back to normal.

Let us know if things aren't.

I've done this before. Just lay off the fruit and veg as the others suggest :)

I've had them out this morning so that I could change their bedding as the poops keep getting stuck to their feet. They are still soft but I haven't given them their veggies today. Feel so guilty as their big eyes were gazing up at me ready and waiting for their daily treat :(

I know-it is hard and makes you feel so guilty!
I had this with one of mine and kept him off all veg for 48 hours until his poop was normal again. I gave him tons of hay though so I think he forgave me :))

Don't feel bad. It's just a lesson learned, you know what to do to fix it and they should be back to normal in no time.

Are you sure they won't touch coriander or peppers at all? Offer a little in each salad for a few days, give it a break of a few days, then a little in each salad etc. Also try offering them in between salads as an extra 'treat'. They need something to balance out the watery-ness of their diet at the moment, and boost the nutritional content. The melon and cucumber is good daily to increase water intake, but not in large amounts.

I found the diet the trickiest thing to get right with my piggies!
