Right people. Here to save you few hundred of pounds!
I've washed a small soft tunnel in pillow case and washing bag, however the wire still managed to break free and get stuck in the holes, breaking the washing machine!
We wash these at work and sometimes the wire do get out, but I've never thought it can find it's way into the small hole in the machine... I guess I am just lucky!

SO, DON'T WASH TUNNELS IN YOUR WASHING MACHINE!
RIP my loyal servant ❤

Oh know what a bugger. Was the tunnel in good condition or a little worn

I had the exact same thing happen but I was able to pull the wire out. Did wonder why the machine was making such a strange noise!

Nope, brand new.

it was only short one so thought we would be able to pull it out, but no. It got stuck somewhere inside. It was proper strong wire so couldn't even twist it a bit or anything...
I once found the metal from my bra in the machine's filter!

Ah mine was a tunnel I had made and the wire part is actually thin plastic.
