Hi guys! I've found myself in a very confusing situation while getting new pigs.
This forum has never let me down before, so I'm posting to get advice once again. (Actually twice again, I've also posted in the food thread...)
The situation is quite confusing so hold on tight! I'd appreciate it a lot if you would read through everything. <3

Backstory-ish
We had four piggies, Paula♀ and Gump, who were parents to Stella♀ and Aakeson. They are all very roughly the same age, around 4 years.
Gump passed away on Christmas. Since then the other pigs have been noticeably sad. Still eating and healthy, but not as playful and lively as they used to be.
We knew they were in need of a new buddy and started looking immediately. It is important that the new pig(s) are skinnies, as Paula is very jealous and will eat any and all hair she encounters, meaning it has not been easy.
We did find some: Otto and Unnamed♀ (Unna). They will be at least 4 weeks and 300g when we get them, so in roughly two weeks.

The puzzle
When we saw Otto, we knew we had to have him. We are planning on keeping him in a cage with a female we have not yet selected (FuFe♀).
However, he must first be neutered. Unna is going to live with Paula and Stella who currently live with Aakeson.
We are planning on putting Otto and Aakeson together while we wait for Otto to be old enough to be neutered.
But I am worried Aakeson will be sad to be taken from his friends, and that Paula and Stella would think that Aakeson was gone for good, or reject him when he comes back?
We thought about getting Otto a male cagemate instead to avoid this, but we want Otto and his buddy to move in with the girls when Aakeson passes away in the future.

So,
How do we keep all pigs happy during this period?
Shall we perhaps let Aakeson do floortime with the girls and then later with Otto? Or let him visit them sometimes? Should we put the boys' cage close to the girls' so they can sense he's still around, or would that make the boys fight? Maybe it is much more straightforward and we can just take Aakeson from the girls no problem?

Thank you for reading!😅💕

You cannot keep two males in the same cage with any number of girlies. They will severely fight! It’s a difficult one. The little male will have to wait 4 moths until he is mature enough to be neutered and then a six week safety wait before being introduced to the girls. He can be paired with your other boy for now though. Make sure the cage is very secure as he will be determined to get to the ladies if they are going to live side by side with the girls

I’m sorry for your loss.

It is fine for you to put Otto and Aakeson together in one cage while Otto is young. It would then be fine for Otto to have his own girl once he is neutered and post neuter safe. You can then try to rebond Aakeson back with Paula, Unna and Stella.
Whether Paula, Stella and Unna accept Aakeson back is going to just have to be dealt with at the time - nobody can say with real certainty what will happen down the line. In theory it’ll be fine.

What you cannot do is allow Aakeson to have floor time with the girls while he is living with Otto (it would be confusing for them to be together and then separated repeatedly).
It would be ok for their cages to be side by side during the time though, provided Otto cannot escape his cage and get in with the girls and thus cause pregnancies. That would also help keep
What you don’t want
