As some of you know that I have been having some housing problem. I have had a little bit of good news about rehoming my pets. My rabbits will be going to a rabbit rescue, I have one of them booked in at the vets to be spayed on wednesday. The rabbit rescue cant take them in intill a months time so I have time to get them a forever home. Patch and Midnight might be rehomed this week fingers crossed. My 3 guinea pigs are going to one of the vets that works at my place. So at least things are working out for my pets!

That sounds great. At least thats one thing off your mind. Hope you can get a place sorted out.

and we'll keep our fingers crossed they work out for you too!

i hope things improve all around

*hugs lots*

thats a comfort for you , any luck with the house problem yet? have you checked out your benefits etc good luck

Thanks every one for your kind words, it keeps me going! I am going to see a housing officer tomorrow because when its 28 days to go before we are 'kicked out' the waiting list changes (I think). We will get some help regarding housing as I am the only one that works and I only work part time. With the vet having my guinea pigs if my housing changes I can have them back. Feel really sorry for the rabbits but they are going to a very good rescue in Leicester (Hunny Bunnies).

Jill at the rescue will find them a very good home! What kind of rabbits are they?

Mr Pickles is a castrated male and he is about 3 years old and is a lion head.
Marmalade is a 3/4 orange Rex and is going to be spayed this week. I feel sorry for her as she was from a market and was 50p! Some one brought her to me as she was going to be ferret food. I havent got a clue how old she is but she had been breed a few times. She is lovely and has the run of the garden, she always goes into my OH's shed and keeps going up to him till she is fed! She will even try's and pinch the food out of the dogs bowl!

Awww they sound lovely. I'd love a lionhead one day.

What a shame you can't find somewhere to accommodate you with your pets :( Are you not allowed to keep your guineapigs even inside the flat?

I have 3 children and 2 dogs and I know its going to be a tight squeeze fitting us all in. I can leave the guinea pigs to the last minute so if there is space I will keep them. So greatful to my vet as she has said I can have them back once we get sorted, as long as her children dont fall in love with them!
