Teenage Guinea Pig
So I took a trip to the vets today with both Leo and Zee! So after discovering a lump on Zee and I became an nervous wreck and fretted about it over night and during the day...so off the vets we went. Then overnight yesterday I noticed an odd colouration on Leo's bottom (Where is manhood once was) So I was like well Zee is going Leo can tag along as well. So they both came along.
So we are they and straight in as the waiting room was empty which was nice...Zee was first and quickly the room was heavy and all I could hear was that clock ticking. The vet said something I practically knew he would say. She has a mammory tumor and they can't do anything because of her age it's to risky to operate on her, so all in all she has just got to go on until she finds it uncomfortable to live.
For now she is a happy go lucky girl. So I am gratefull for that.
Then Leo's turn came up and the vet looked at him and then carted him away into the next room. Which I hated, I wanted to be with my little buddy.
All I could hear was Leo's screams from the back room and scrambling so god knows what was happening and then when he came back he was bleeding... So it turns out that he had an infected scab on his testicle area and he has antibotics and some ointment that I have to apply twice daily.
So he is not a happy chappy.
I think I was just as traumatised as them
I just need a good cry I think.
On the upnote they travelled so well together in the same crate and seemed so relaxed. Maybe it helped them to stay calm having each other.
