I have been looking through preloved and freeads for piggies that would be good friends for Charlotte who has not been accepted by my other pigs. There are loads of breeders and some keep unsexed baby pigs together, there are just so many people making money off the exploitation of these poor little things. So many of these little pigs are going to end up with a bad home, no home or an ok home but the kids get bored of them. Then they will end up on the forum in a few months/ year looking for someone to rescue them. Why is it that so many people in this world couldn't give a flying flip about anybody but themselves. Rarrrrrrr, Fume, Rant. Ok calming down a bit now. Grr some people make me so cross. grrrr mallethead grrrr

It's annoying and frustating! When educating, it is like 1 step forward and 2 steps back! Glynis and Ellie were sold like this too and they had their brother Ron in with them! Now Glynis is probably pregnant! Some don't care they just see pound signs. :(

It is so frustrating , as an animal lover, to know that people just see pound signs and dont care about the welfare of the animal. Thats why this forum is so wonderful as its a chance for all us GP lovers to talk to others as piggy mad as yourself. I am forever preaching animal rights and have at last converted my mum to free range eggs. Its a small step but every little helps.

Jamie Oliver helpped me convert my OHs mum to free range eggs with that programme about factory farming. There need to be more programmes like that to show people the suffering that many animals go through. If only the government would just look like they were doing anything to help anyone instead of spending our taxes on duck houses etc, it would be good. For heavens sake the RNLI and RSPCA get no funding and they are both so important for everyone.

I have a friend who has "free range" chickens. I really wouldn't bother. there's about 4 weeks difference between them and barn eggs and half the chickens don't bother to go out anyway.

If you're bothered about real free range then you need to go to a farm shop.
