Haha yeah, it's a new dietary staple! :P :P

No, it's to stop them moving the litter tray, good for their nails too :D

hehe :D Their teeth wouldn't be able to over grow lol.

ooo really? does it help with curly nails?

Hahahah!

Erm, I don't think it would do much with really long nails, but helps with trimmed ones as they climb over it to get to the litter trays :)

Ahh ok, it's just my guinea's curl, we got them like it, and even when they've been for a nail clip they come back the same way so I would assume that the quick isn't that far from the end of the nail hence whoever is clipping them not being able to take much off. Plus it's a pain because 7 out of 10 of our guinea's have dark claws :( I hate their curled claws because I keep thinking they hurt them.

I know what you mean. When I took in two girls last year they had bad nails and although I was able to get them comfortable again, they were still thick and horrid and never perfect. It takes a lot of time and attention to correct bad nails, especially when they are black!

You have such beautiful piggies, bumble really caught my eye, what a beautiful colour, do you know what colour Bumble is? Very cute piggy. Also, the hay in the litter tray do they like sleeping in it? Thinking of doing that for my girls

Thank you. Bumble is a tri coloured piggy :) I don't put Hay in the litter trays, they are lined with paper cat litter. The hay that is in it is just what has fallen from the hay rack, but yes they do like sleeping in it :)

:( I guess we'll just have to keep doing the "little and often" thing with the dark curled claws. They weren't overgrown when we got them BUT that was because the rescues at trimmed their claws, they were just curled and horrible. Snow and Storm who we've had from about 4 months, their claws are ok, one of Storm paws is black though so they have slightly curled because we don't like taking too much off of those claws..

Anyway, I'll stop high jacking your thread now rofl.
