Hello everyone, thought I'd show off the boys and tell you how we came to have 5 eventually :)
Recently everyone fell out with their companion so we're rebuilding the set up, give each one a 2x4, and rethink who to pair with whom.
So, in addition to Geezer and Eppu, in summer we took home two brothers who were about a year and a half old, they were being rehomed. They don't look alike at all 😂
They had a falling out after only a few days in the new cage as the smaller, bossier one started relentlessly bullying the other- poor fella couldn't do anything, not even lay down for a nap. Piggy tornado ensued, both got bitten- the bully got the worst of it, cos his brother is an absolute unit. Split cage, relieved piggies, all good. We nicknamed them Surma and Rutto (Death and Pestilence) as a joke and it stuck. Rutto loved his new found freedom and peace but after a while, Surma became obsessed with Eppu to the point of constant crying. We decided, after much consideration, to adopt one last piggy. Enter Baldrick. They never cared much for each other but at least they got along fine. Except now, as he hit the 6 months hormonal spike, they kept poking and spraying each other constantly and it eventually escalated into a fight. Nothing too brutal, but Baldrick did get bitten on the nose. So, now everyone's single and I'm watching them to decide new pairings... Got plenty of time since I got Covid too (husband got it two weeks ago, luckily it's quite mild with us).
here's all the boys (they're all weird mixes of god knows what except Baldrick who is clearly a skinny):
Geezer (werewolf) 1 year 6 months - no touching policy, but friendly and adventurous. Likes to explore the whole house. May be convinced he's actually a dog.
Eppu (abby mix) 10 months - all heart, like all teenagers he has better things to do than be smooched by mum, he's finding his place in the world.
Baldrick (skinny) 6 months - a happy soul, gives lots of kisses, don't get in his space or he'll kick you. Tiny but feisty.
Surma (white/pink eyes/crazy swirly hair) 1 year 9 months - don't be fooled by that cute face, he's a bully but boy does he love cuddles!
Rutto Romeo(black/ultra fluffy/ massive) 1 year 9 months - introvert, built like a tank, the goodest boy. Everybody loves him.

Hi, thank you all! They are lovely, they just annoy each other to no end if they share a space but will nest at the grid if they have a divider. And they seem to care about each other's well being too, checking on another piggie if they hear him calling.
I tried Geezer and Rutto today, so far so good. Rutto seems to be coming out of his shell and eating his veggies (not a big fan, but Geezer is a veggie lover).
Tried the other 3 in pairs, they all come across waaaaay too strong and it escalated quickly every time. So for now they stay next door neighbours. I am absolutely battered from the introductions and cleaning the whole room 4 times. All is quiet now, they are on their after-dinner nap :luv:
