After walking into my aniamls room yesterday and discovering blood up the sides of my C&C it was time to find the cuplrit out of 4 of them. So this is what my kitchen sink looked liked for the best part of an hour and a half last night:

Then Scrummy and Toffee were eventually swapped for Lilly & Minnie, but for some reason their picture's wont download, i will keep trying. But here are some more of Toffee & Scrummy

If you look at Toffee's face i think this answers our question of where the blood came from.....?

And the gorgeous Scrummy

After all 4 produced normal wee and poo with no squeals, all happily eating and shouting at me i am not concerned, but will be keeping a very close eye on them.

Too cute :) Do you think Toffee or some other pig has scratched her? Glad there is no squeaky wees and I hope they feel better soon.
Scrummy is well... Scrummy

I have no idea whats happened, i suspect possibly a scrap or toffee has been up to mischief, I put their hay in a hay rack and put cardboard behind it to stop it falling out of the cage, and it was a new bit of cardboard and well it is now half the size, so weather she has been attacking the cardboard and therefor cut herself i am unsure, but i am just relieved its not any UTI's!

xx

Look at those cuties x) The Scrummy One drool and beautiful Toffee x) I love her lips drool

Hope you have had no more blood today and that it is Toffees nose that was causing the issue.

P.S your kitchen sink is very clean! Do you employ piggie cleaners? X

Ha ha, if you saw their cage sometimes you would see that i wouldn;t empoly them to clean! I am a clean freak and it has only got worse of late!

No more blood, so i can only assume it was toffee's very minor injury!

How are you feeling today?

xx

Ours aren't very clean either, especially a certain Moo Cow piggie :))

I'm okay thank you, trying to avoid painkillers if I can today.

So pleased you found no sign of UTI, very odd. Give them all a cuddle, couldn't open your email photo of them :( so was pleased to see this thread.

How good are they sat there like that? mine would be leaping out. Glad it was nothing sinister.

I was surprised by them all Helen, they all just sat there eating! It would be a different story if there was water involved!

Lol yes I expect it would be. Little Nigel could jump straight out of the bath when water was involved. I would not put it past Mrs Fuzzy either, though we haven't attempted to bath her yet or get her to sit still in a bowl. She is bad enough when being weighed, have had to fish her out of the bottom of the coffee machine, from behind the kettle etc.

Have to echo that with mine! Weigh time is such a chore as they try to get out of the bowl. Also pleased that it was nothing serious, although Toffee might disagree!

Mine are fine at being weighed, i think they have learnt it is over far quicker if they just sit still, they get their treat and get put back in the cage.

Pleased to say all seems fine now.
