Someone chirped?

So late this evening as we were all getting ready for bed we heard what we thought was a bird that must have come into the house somewhere?
But the noise was coming from our guinea pig room!
when I entered everyone was either in a hide or hay pile asleep, or sat on top of a hide.
So I’ve absolutely no idea who decided to chirp like a bird? It was so bird-like! I’ve never heard it before.

though everyone seems quite content and settled 🤷🏻‍♀️
 
Count yourself blessed! We’ve only ever caught the culprit twice. The first time we couldn’t figure out who it was because they stopped as soon as the husband went down to check. I wasn’t going to go down and help a bird stuck in the house! Scared me witless I tell you 🏃🏾‍♀️
 
That's Brill. . While ago Florence did the same. . .
I was up making breaky and could hear this chirping. . I really tho a bird was trapped in the room. I was stood looking at her Florence and yep she was singing away.
I was shocked and spooked. really tho she was ill
Afterwards I looked on line and here and as you have found . . Very rare and wow eh.

I've not heard her do it since. Dam weird. Lol
 
It's such a different sound, it's hard to believe that they're the ones making it!

Leela has suddenly taking to chirping occasionally... she did it once randomly a few months ago, and then again the other day (the second time was after a lamp was knocked over upstairs and really scared her with the sound... I'm wondering if that one was fear motivated? Or alerting the mother ship on planet pig that the humans were being too loud? Who knows!)
 
This is a video of a little bit of his chirping (though he’s being a bit quieter here), I need to try get a video when he’s being louder with it. Could hear him throughout the whole house yesterday! 😂
He’s sat just outside of one of the hides, I was trying not to be seen! He stops if he sees me 😂
