My local pets at home (crewe) has these two perfect piggies up for adoption. They seem to think they're only 8 months old. They look like they are so well bonded which is the only thing I would ever care about when adopting boars. They were sharing a hide and laying about next to each other which seems like a dream for teenage boars. I love them so much but it would not be at all sensible to adopt them myself right now. They're called Frankie and Benny! I dont know which is which but one is a black shorthaired pig with the cutest grey hairs on his back and the other is a longhaired piggy with ginger patches20260618_164320.webp20260618_164333.webp

You know you want to
Common sense has no place in this.

This how I acquired Micah just a few weeks before we moved house !
He was labelled as having to live alone so heart overruled head and I went back for him the next day !
I know but I really dont have the space

This is pretty much how I ended up with Comet and Blitzen, 12-16 weeks old at the time and very much bonded for life (and sleeping next to each other constantly).

I don't go near Pets At Home these days. Much safer, lol.

I didn't have room for Misty and Bramble when they refused bond with Thea. So they lived on a table in a cage in my garage near the hutch. It was really awkward as the table/cage arrangement took up lots of room and needed moving every time I had to get Thea out of the hutch. After about a year Aunty Lilli (Boarder) managed to bond them successfully. If she hadn't the table/cage arrangement would have stayed until Thea went to the Rainbow Bridge 2 years later.

I was going to say much the same - @Sweet Potato will have her hands full soon enough with a demanding hooman baby, adding furry ones to the mix could be a bit much, however much you love Guinea pigs.

I don't think I could have managed caring for both pigs and a new baby together, though I admit I am pretty inefficient and it wouldn't be hard to be better than I was at both...

Correct i think part of the struggle is that my maternal instincts and hormones are on fire at the moment
