someone please explain this weird one?

so as some of you have read, we got a new girl piggy (chloe) ANd her and Blind lucy arent getting along that great or I mean Lucy runs her off, some of you have seen the videos in a past thread... So today My neighbors brought over their 2 females and put them in the yard with my gang, Lucy got along fine wiht them ate with them and sniffed had a blast, but everytime she gets close to chole she teeth chatters and chases after her butt.. I dont get this one bit, I'm confused as to why she gets along fine with 2 other females.. Its the same situation just 2 other guinea pigs.
 
its like there is something wrong with chloe that lucy doesnt like but We have no idea what it is.....
 
Poor Chloe. Wish I could give you an answer but I have no idea.

Maybe she just doesn't like her, like how some people automatically dislike someone for no reason?
 
yeah i guess just doesnt make any sense.;.
 
Is there a possible she might be ill? I don't know about guinea pigs but mother dogs will push another puppy away from her litter if they are ill?

Again, this might not apply to piggies, I'm just trying to think of reasons. Lets hope someone who knows more can help you.
 
We don't like every human we meet - I have met some human's and my first impression is I really don't like you, I imagine it's the same for Guinea Pig's and Lucy probably doesn't like Chloe for whatever reason, some Guinea Pig's don't read the books and they just don't get on.

You can encourage a friendship but you can't force it, I know from experience when I had Bette and tried to pair her and Milo - Bette absolutely hated him. She spent her life being his next door neighbour which she really did enjoy even if she was 'yawning' at him :)).
 
its just weird, Why she would get aong wiht other females but not this one? They are in a C7C cage seperated by a grid and do fine... But I will say it IS ALOT better when they are together now then when we first brought chole home, Maybe it will just take more time...
