Something New...

I've noticed Casran has adopted a new sleeping pose.

He's now flopping down on his side with his back legs kicked right out behind him and his head snuggled on the side too.

Most of you know the back story with Casran and Jemima... and I'm hoping this new 'chilled out to the max' sleeping position is a sign he's reached a new phase of comfort, relaxation, trust and safety with me.

Well he was led like this in his run last night.

And then this morning he was cuddled up like this in his hutch.

Both times he had his favourite towel with him (which, it sounds stupid, but makes him feel much safer for some reason - he likes it with him).

But, both times, he realised I was taking him food and so he jumped straight up and ran to me ... doh!

Great to hear Casran has become so relaxed & is sleeping comfy. Running to you for food is a sure sign of eagerness & trust. I myself wouldn't mind a photo of his new sleeping position (hint, hint).
