My piggies like "chest" time rather than lap time. Because there is a nice "shelf" for them to balance on.
Well, whenever my brother comes over to visit, they try to get some chest time from him too, but can't work out why they keep slipping back down into his lap.

I like to lie down on the couch with my two boys, and they sit on my chest.

The girls don't like being picked up so I sit in their run and they'll sit on my feet or go inside the leg of my trousers
