When I came across this during my research it brought tears to my eyes. I believe it and I hope that it will bring comfort to those who have lost a special friend.

brings tears to my eyes. losing them is just so hard. my favourite poem is the one i post on every rainbow bridge thread of mine. i just love it:

We little knew that day,
God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly,
In death, we do the same.

It broke our hearts to lose you.
You did not go alone.
For part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.

You left us beautiful memories,
Your love is still our guide.
And although we cannot see you,
You are always at our side.

Our family chain is broken,
And nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one,
The chain will link again.

That is beautiful. Thank you :luv: I think we should have a thread stickied where people can write their own poems. They had one like that but I don't think they allow people to post to it anymore? Just read. There should be more like this!
