Cookie22

About a couple of hours ago i gave Cookie and Maisey some lettuce. But Cookie has been sitting at the front of her cage with her two front paws on her bowl and when i come into the kitchen she looks out at me. She doesn't want dried food because she has nuggets in her bowl. I thought maybe she was bored and wanted to come out, so i got her out and put her on her fleece on the sofa with me for a while. Then she wanted to go to the toilet (she has a way of letting me know she wants to go) so i put her back. Now everytime i go into the kitchen Cookie keeps looking out at me, i dunno whether she's bored or just wants to look at me for something to do. I've fed her and because i felt gulity because i didn't know what she wanted, i gave her some cucumber. But she didn't eat it, so carried on looking at me and i was like "Oh Cookie, i dunno what you want, darling!" I felt quilty turning off the light and coming into the lounge, with her still standing at the front of her cage. I dunno what she wants. I am thinking of getting her out again. Maybe she's lonely. I can't put her in with Maisey because she fights with her real bad.

Do you sometimes have this with your pig(gies)sometimes you try to give them want you think they want but you find it's not want they want and you are wondering what they really want and if you ignore them you feel quilty?
If only they could talk (well they tweek i know but like talk like humans lol) then they could tell us what they want instead of us just guessing

She sounds a bit lonely. Have you kept on trying her with maisey? They should eventually get used to each other.

If they really don't get on you should consider getting them a friend each. Maybe she would like the company of a neutered boar, if you go to some rescues they will let the pigs meet to see if they get on.
