Sooo Bought A Glass Water Bottle....

Soo went to Pets at Home always a dangerous place for me way to many cute piggies and some how god only knows I came out with only what I intended to buy which was piggy pellets, timothy hay and a glass water bottle, till now used plastic and this bottle was expensive but wondered if it would make a difference... filled it and emptied it a few times before finally putting water in and fixing it to the cage and blimey... they like it you would think they had never had water before as one after the other they had a darn good drink and kept going to the point I had time to snap some decent pics for once here are the three besties.

Beautiful piggies. I've got a plastic and a glass bottle on my cage and my boars will wait for the other to finish on the glass bottle rather than use the plastic one sometimes. I'd rather drink out of glass than plastic, guess they must be the same!

Now I want glass bottles but knowing me I would knock them off the hutch and they would smash or if I used them for my hamsters they would knock them over and get crushed by them

Same here - love the idea but know they would probably end up smashed.

@Piggypigpigpig after your fabulous pics yesterday I went and bought 2 of these for my 2 pairs of girls. I've left up the plastic ones as well as the new glass ones. We have a clear winner in Mollie and Mabel's cage - a very clear preference for the glass bottle. Less obvious in Violet and Connie's cage as they were at the vets most of the day and Connie is convalescing. But time will tell.
