Sooty has died

Within 24 hours and two visits to the vets sooty has died. I only knew him for a few days but he was such a cheeky boar. The vet seemed to think he must have been ill with something congenital. The vet is very sure that it wasnt an infection or something contagious. Maybe the stress of a new home was too much for you.
I tried my best and my little boy held you tight as you went to sleep.
Sweep is looking for you and we miss you already. God willing we will see you one day. Until then kiss kiss, I'm so sorry little piggie!

PS: The best way to find a character compatible boarmate for a stable friendship is by "boar dating" at a good guinea pig rescue. You are lucky to have one of the best not too far away in Glynneath. Any good rescue will only rehome properly sexed and healthy (i.e. quarantined) guinea pigs.
