hi , last Wednesday I bought my baby piggy - he had a sore back , when I ask the staff in pet shop they told me it is probably he was bitten by other guinea pig :(
yesterday I take him back to the shop and ask if they could help me because this wound looks a bit worse :(
they give me a Tea Tree Skin Cream for this and told me I have to wait 3 days for results if will be worse they pay for vet ....
but here is my question .. do you know how long it can take to make him better after this or if it is really just after bite or something else ?

it is bigger now so I'm worry what is this ?
probably I have to take him to the vet in Monday but maybe anybody could help ....
1st day

4th day

is anybody know what this could be ? is that skin cream is safe for that small guinea pig? he is just 240 grams .....

Your pics are a bit blurry to make it out properly. But I'd advise you to take your piggy to a cavy savvy vet ( look for an exotic vet ) straight away and not wait 3 days as a bite could get infected and if it's a skin condition it could get fairly serious fairly fast. Which pet shop did you get him from ( I can probably guess :( ) ?

That second pic looks like ringworm.

I bought him in Jollyes Pet Shop , it doesn't look like a circle till yesterday when I start using this Skin cream what they give me ....
hope it is nothing serious :( :( :(

Finger's crossed that it's something and nothing. I'd be tempted to get him booked in the vet just to be on the safe side, especially as it seems to be getting bigger.

Even if it *is* ringworm, it's treated quite easily, but it you need to be quite careful as you (or any other pets) could get it too
